Today I did some bush matches with a good squad and this one person entered our squad. His use name was Warlord I think and he was a gallente heavy possibly using an assault HMG. This. Guy. Was. Tapdancing. Seriously. I found him taking cover behind some boxes, no shields and most of his armor still there. I decided to become him Guardian WP Banker and healed him behind the boxes This bastard was moving through the bullet fire being hot at him like a skilled boxer bobs and weaves and was doing the craziest Texas Two Step I've ever seen a heavy do. We all were doing great and had a fair share of kills from the clone count, but he got separated from me and still managed to get 27 kills and 3 deaths. I think he may be a keyboard user if possible, but regardless his strafing is badass. Anyone know how one could strafe really good on a ds3 controller?

Seen this before, but do you think it's possible for someone to do a counter strafe in a texas two step manner? That might be what he was doing.

That might be what he was doing. The thing about DS3 is the sticks have acceleration, where as, keyboard buttons do not. The limits of the strafe on DS3 is due to deceleration from the left side to the middle, then acceleration from the middle to the right, causing a slight pause in between strafes. Kb doesnt have this as its instant top speed from one button to the next. Chances are, if you were astonished by his strafe he was using KB. That's not to say with a lot of practice that you can't strafe near the same on DS3 though.
Hmm.... He was making use of small circles in his strafe, so it may or may not be kb/m Even then he was moving fast in the strafe for a kb/m user.

Makes sense, thanks.
